The January 2020 Visa Bulletin shows some EB-1 advancement for all countries except for China and India, with final action dates of October 1, 2018. The bulletin also notes that rapid advancement expected in the coming months and EB-1 final action dates could potentially become current. EB-2 and EB-3 final action dates remain current for most countries, with little advancement for India and China. The bulletin also notes expected retrogression in the EB-3 category for most countries by March 2020.
USCIS is yet to announce whether it will continue to use the Dates for Filing chart in January. The December 2019 Visa Bulletin warned that USCIS may require establishment of Final Action Dates in the EB-2 and EB-3 categories as early as January 2020. In the Visa Bulletin, the dates for filing in the EB-1 category for most countries are current, while dates for filing in the EB-3 category for most countries will retrogress to January 1, 2019.
